BIOGRAPHY
Rollande Dufault
 


RolandeRollande Dufault was born in the Outaouais region of Quebec. It soon became apparent that her creative talents needed to be developed through solid artistic training. She received a bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of Ottawa with a major in Art History in 1976. Rollande has has also studied at the Outaouais campus of the University of Quebec as well as the Washington School of Art P.W. New York.

From 1982 to 1985, she pursued studies in watercolour with artists of international reputation such as Zoltan Zabo, G. Magnotti, J. Robinson … . Throughout the 80's, she has participated in numerous expositions in Ontario and Quebec. She has also sold her art in the United States through K.D. Homes of America.

From 2005 to 2008, Rolande has studied with C. Labrosse (Member of the Ottawa water Clour Society). She loves to discover and learn new techniques such as Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour and Mixed Media.

She participated in the 26th Exhibition of the Canadian Society of watercolor in Montreal and toured throughout Quebec between April and November 2009.

Rollande Dufault is listed in the 2009 -2010 Directory of Canadian Artists which is published twice a year. This document is available for viewing at most galleries, museums and major libraries in Canada.
