My passion for the arts has always been great. I try
to recreate, through various means, what inspires me: the characters,
nature, animals.
This has awakened in me the desire to be part of the art world. I have obtained a Bachelor's Degree in
Vocational Education through the University of Quebec in Hull.
After these studies, I first engaged in pottery. Then
I took courses in drawing, watercolor and oil painting
Danielle Paré, Claire Denis Labrosse and Helena, and then monitoring
workshops with Louise Lachance, Norbert Lemire, Pierrette Labonté and
Claire Labrosse.
I also do sculpture. I took my first class with
Henry Bolduc, then with Michael Bellefeuille, Pierre Guy, Eugène
Jankoski, Romual Collin and Roger Couture.
My conception of a work usually begins with an affinity to
an object, a movement, a character or the atmosphere of a landscape.
My purpose is to translate the subject of my inspiration into forms and
color .
Here begins the execution of the work, where intuition is my best
guide.
My curiosity leads me to mix mediums, and I have yet to
discover ...
Although I prefer scultpture, I am beginning to employ many other techniques such as watercolor and mixed media.
Creating is so exciting and I feel that this may be the project that will last throughout my lifetime.
