Visual artist of the Outaouais region, Jocelyne Sirois Lavallée’s love for painting was revealed by a course in France with the Art Faculty of the Ottawa University. She was also a kindergarten teacher for a few years. She is a fashion designer, graduated with honors from Richard Robinson's Fashion School in Ottawa.  Many courses followed at the Ottawa School of Art, at the University of Québec in Outaouais and with several known artists like Carla O’Connor from USA. 

She participates to several juried shows. In 2003, bronze medalist honor with the CAPSQ at Le Château Dufresnes in Montreal and at the National Archives in Gatineau with SAVO. In 2007, participation in Conte ART Rebours show, at the Montcalm Gallery in Gatineau and at the Visual Art Center in Orleans with the OMMA group winning two Juror’s prices.  
In 2005, Solo Show presented at the Foyer du Théâtre de l’Île in Gatineau.    

She loves the introspection process where the creative ideas flows and to express perfectly her emotion to the art viewer. Her figurative and abstract paintings are characterized by boldness, vibrant colors and movement. Mix media and aqua media are part of her passion.
